The Military Art Program is a new initiative developed for current and former serving Australian military veterans living in Western Australia. I am very honoured to be involved as Patron and will be running drawing workshops through the program, the next of which is a charcoal drawing workshop on October 24. I will be running a drawing workshop and participating in a ‘Ask The Industry‘ Q & A as part of the 2015 Evolve Development Program for the City of South Perth. The Program runs in conjunction with the South Perth Emerging Artist Award exhibition. More info here.
The City Of Melville have very kindly selected me to participate as this year’s artist for the TILT exhibition program. Running for nearly a decade, the programs’ curator invites one artist each year to respond to the Heathcoate site and surrounding area culminating in a solo exhibition. My 2015 TILT show ‘Hoon’ opens November 13 and runs until December 20.
I’ll be contributing a couple of small works to Paper Mountain’s Art Auction, opening Friday 7 August from 6pm. Proceeds from the exhibition will help keep Paper Mountain (Artists run initiative) going and support Perth’s thriving art community. More info here.
